MR. DIEGO DEL ALCÁZAR SILVELA

President of the Instituto de Empresa, Chairman of the Vocento Group

Born in Ávila, Diego del Alcázar Silvela led the group of businessmen who founded the Instituto de Empresa in 1973. At present he is the President of this institution and the Vice-President of the University Institute for Corporate Research at the Complutensian University. Likewise, he is a member of the board of directors of various communication, multimedia and consumer products companies, as well as an art expert. In collaboration with the Ortega y Gasset Foundation, in 1985 he created the Juan Lladó Prize which, after several editions, has now become one of the most prestigious awards in the field of cultural patronage. Diego del Alcázar is also the Chairman of the Vocento Group.
