MRS. ANNA MARIA GELI DE CIURANA

Anna Maria Geli de Ciurana is a Graduate in Biological Sciences, a Doctor of Humanities and a Professor of Experimental Sciences Didactics at the University of Girona (UdG). She has been the Director of the Department of Specific Didactics of the UdG, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the UdG, Secretary-General for the Family of the Generalitat of Catalonia (2002-04), Vice-Rector for Academic Policy of the UdG, Member of the Inter-University Council of Catalonia, and Member of the Social Council of UdG.
In the field of research and doctorate management, she has been the Director of the Research Group on Scientific and Environmental Education of the UdG. Her lines of research are the curricular environmentalization of university studies and of compulsory education, teacher training and appraisal of environmental education and participation programs. She is also a member of various international associations.
